P4CM exists to inspire a Passion for Christ and spark a Movement that spans across the globe. We’ve gained notoriety in the past few years though the spoken word art form and it’s been a big blessing.
We are looking to expand into other areas and have done it with video series like The Conversation and Journey to Covenant among many others. We’d specifically like to increase our production of written content and better serve our audience.
We’ve spent some time studying our audience and put together a customer Avatar. We think we have a decent idea of who tunes in to what we have to offer. You can click here to take a look at it.
We want to write pieces that speak to them. It would be a mix of short (300-800 words) and long pieces (1000-2500 words) like you see on The Atlantic or The Gospel Coalition.
The topics would also be varied as you can see that they are on those sites. You can look at our avatar and see our audience has varied interests. Some would be explicitly Christ related, some not. Some would be reflecting and commenting on our video series. They could be informative or your personal reflections. Both resonate with our audience.
We don’t have a ton of articles in our site, but click here to see a piece that did pretty well as one example.
We have a large audience so it’s a good chance to get feedback from and exposure to tons of people and share your gift widely.
In the beginning, we’re looking for people who would be open to volunteering while we get things going. We are developing a model and budget to pay for folks to write for us as well. Please let me know if you’re interested in either volunteering or being paid. If it’s paid, what would your rate per article be for a given length and topic.
The other main thing we’re trying to do is grow the audience. So it will be a mix of art and science. Some research and planning will go into what is written and some effort must go into marketing the articles so many more people can hear about them. We’ll help with the marketing for sure, and at the same time, it’ll be a team effort.
