RHETORIC REWIND: Jay’O Speaks – The Breaking Point

This week we’re rewinding to Jay’O Speaks first P4CM poem called “The Breaking Point”

We want to share this video and share his store of recently losing his home from a house fire. Join us in supporting his family by clicking here: http://www.gofundme.com/nkd8r4

“Oh, give thanks to the God of gods!
For His mercy endures forever.” Psalm 136:1

“At 4AM on the morning of Sunday March 1, Sha-Ron and her two young children were awakened by fire and smoke. A hardworking father and husband, Johnathan was away at his night job. Thankfully, they were rescued from their 3rd floor apartment by competent and compassionate members of the Cincinnati Fire Department. Unfortunately, the contents of the apartment were lost. Jace and Aiden, ages 2 and 1 enjoyed a modest home filled with love, art, books and educational materials. Only one of these items remain-love. The Johnsons must rebuild and they need financial, emotional and spiritual support to do so. Sha-Ron and Johnathan are part of a dynamic church community, and the leadership and members of Christ Emmanuel Church have led the charge in helping this family to begin again. Thank you in advance for your contribution.”
